WEDDING FAQ’s

  • Most clients book around around 9-18 months before their wedding. It’s best to book your wedding as soon as you know your date to ensure your date is still available.

  • When you decide you’re ready to book, you can request your proposal HERE. After filling that out you will receive an email with a link to your contract and invoice for review. After reading your proposal you can electronically sign online and pay your deposit, and that’s it- you’re all set!If you would like a consultation first, check the box on the booking form saying you would like a consultation.

  • Yes, all services require a $500 deposit at the time of booking.

  • Absolutely! You can check out the available payment plans HERE.

  • For your convenience, all payments can be made online with a credit card or bank transfer. There are no card processing fees.

  • Things happen! If you give at least 3 weeks heads up, you can change your wedding day using your current deposit.

  • Yes, a certificate of insurance can be sent to your venue upon request.

  • Absolutely! When you fill out your wedding form, just make sure to add the location of your wedding venue and you will receive back your entire wedding proposal, including any travel fees.

  • Anything within a 60 mile radius of Indianapolis is included for free. If your wedding or engagement session takes place outside of that range additional fees may be added. You can request a quote HERE.

  • Waiting to receive your gallery is the hardest part! There is a 10 week turnaround policy for weddings. While most galleries are delivered much sooner than that, you can’t rush art, and Meg Day Media images are held to the highest standard.

  • You will receive an email with a link to your online gallery. In your gallery you will be able to download both the high-resolution and social media sized photos.

  • Yes! Your gallery has a print store built in, so you can order items like: prints, canvases, albums, books, calendars, and more.

    All wedding clients will receive a print gift card to get their collection started!

  • No, you do not have to print through your gallery at all. You can take your images to be printed anywhere you like.

  • Of course! Meg will give full direction on how and where to pose to make sure you both look your absolute best. No former experience with professional photography is necessary.

  • Meg has never missed a wedding, but if something were to happen you would still have photography coverage. An Associate Photographer would be assigned to your wedding instead.

PORTRAIT FAQ’s

  • Absolutely! You can use your free portrait session at any time before your wedding. You can decide any time which kind of session you would like.

  • I understand things happen! Whether it’s bad weather, you’re sick, or you slept in- you can reschedule for any reason up to 3 times for free! After that a reschedule fee of $100 will be required for a new session date.

    If the weather is not safe for my equipment, or has caused unsafe driving conditions, the session may be automatically rescheduled.

  • You can choose from a list of recommended locations, or you can recommend one yourself!

  • Absolutely! Children and pets are more than welcome to be part of your portrait session.

  • Unlike weddings, portrait sessions, even if inconvenient, can be rescheduled. If I am sick or otherwise unable to make it to your session, I afford myself the same rescheduling policy I give to my clients. I would promptly notify you, and the date will be moved to a new date of your choosing.

  • If you can’t make it to your session on time, just let me know asap so I’m in the loop! I’m very flexible as long as we stay in communication. If I haven’t heard anything after 15 minutes from the scheduled session time, the date will be rescheduled.

  • Yes! Usually brides only have one wedding dress, but if you have another dress you are changing into during the reception, or if you have multiple wedding dresses or outfits, you are welcome to bring them as well.

  • Absolutely! You can schedule a bridal session for any time after your wedding. If you choose to have them done within 3 weeks after your wedding date, you can choose to have the images delivered through your wedding gallery, or in their own separate Bridal gallery. The groom can also be included in Bridal Portraits.

  • If you end up not using your free portrait session by your wedding, you will be refunded $300 within 7 days after the wedding date.
